| BSG Review: |
"Coupling" was one of the BBC's biggest sitcom successes
in recent years. The scripts were clever and quick plus, most
importantly, funny. Steven Moffat has done a great job creating
characters and situations which are easy to identify with and memorable.
Be warned though - the poor American
NBC version was not nearly as good as this original and depite what the media are saying it isn't actually that similar to the American sitcom "Friends".
The last series did suffer a bit from the lack of Jeff (the brilliant Richard Coyle) although the addition of fantasy dream sequences and Susan giving birth added new dimensions. |
